ZigBee wireless sensor network collects sensor technology, network and communication technology, computing technology three technology. It has many advantages, such as low power consumption, low cost, self organization and distributed and so on. And it will be widely applied in the industrial field, Home Furnishing environment, intelligent transportation, medical, military and other fields in the future.There are certain differences compared with the conventional large network application for wireless sensor network requirements to realize wireless networking, communication between instrument and computer management in the workshop and other industrial field. First, the number of ZigBee nodes connected with instrument is less; Second, node must be robust, or node failure and node connected instruments can’t be normal communication; Third, due to the distance of the handheld equipment change constantly, the network is also more unstable. This is not conducive to the instrument’s normal communication, so we must limit the motion distance of instrument; Fourth, different ZigBee network can’t interfere with each other. The node can join the specified network and can freely switch between different networks. Fifth, some instruments require transmission of large data files. Sixth, in some cases, instrument or workshop needs remote access and management. In view of the above problems, this paper mainly solves the problems. The development functions are network maintenance, online query nodes, configuration of PANID and channel, restart the entire network or a single equipment, query node configuration information and back to the factory settings and so on. It is improved that the traditional ZigBee device does not support the large volume of data transmission. The function of wireless communication system is more perfect, and has the versatility to a certain extent. Thus it is conducive to the further application of ZigBee wireless communication technology [1].Traditional clock synchronization algorithm has some shortcomings of communication cost and more synchronous clock errors. Proposed a novel energy saving algorithm of ZigBee network to achieve efficient energy——based ZigBee-WIFI collaborative mode clock synchronization mechanism. ZigBee wireless sensor node can sense periodical beacon frame of WiFi which is working in the same radio spectrum through the built-in receive signal strength register (RSSI),and use it as a reference clock to adjust local clock. After this method corrected clock deviation is larger. Then a clock model based on state space is proposed, Kalman filter and DLQR regulator is adopted to trace and regulate the state variable. Finally, the trade-off between the clock synchronization error and correction cycle is analysis. considering comprehensive factors, it is concluded that used the clock synchronization mechanism based on ZigBee-WIFI cooperative mode, the ZigBee network significantly improve energy-saving effect.This system has been used in the age group workshop, and shows stable performance. Clock synchronization mechanism based ZigBee-WIFI collaborative mode save energy efficiently, and also can achieve the accuracy of clock synchronization. It is in the stage of simulation algorithm currently, and is not used in the actual system.
