Industry of mobile communication have a rapid development. Mobile devices–phones, tabletcomputer are more and more intelligent, ultra-thin and rapid computing speed. As a hub of mobiledevice to send and receive signal-antenna, the future trend of antenna is bound to be miniaturizedand multi-band. Antenna which is so important for mobile device, the performance andcharacteristics of antenna have an important role on the quality of wireless communications.Therefore there is a great significance to devise miniaturized and multi-band antenna which couldadapt to modern mobile communication.In this context, we start to research on the4G-LTE mobile antenna, which is suitable formodern communication, especially it is suitable for4G-LTE mobile communication. Design two4G-LTE antenna, we use technology of multi-branch, coupled feed and curved path. Antenna can beused on tablet computer. The first antenna under-6dB return loss, low-frequency bandwidth of theantenna is from700MHz to980MHz, high-frequency bandwidth is from1.71GHz to2.71GHz. Theband of antenna covers five WWAN band (GSM-850,GSM-900,DCS-1800,PCS-1900,UMTS)and the entire LTE beautifully. The second antenna under-6dB return loss, low-frequencybandwidth of the antenna is from690MHz to885MHz, high-frequency bandwidth is from1705MHz to3.07GHz. Bandwidth of antenna does not include the GSM850and GSM900, this isbecause the tablet computer does not depend for2G communication.The first antenna consists of amodified L-shaped antenna and two parasitic units, the antenna uses the coupling feed between theL-shaped antenna and parasitic elements, at the same time in order to get the bandwidth at lowfrequency, the ground plane have a slotted L-shaped gap. The second antenna consists of a T-shapeddriving the antenna, a parasitic circuit stub and a patch as a matching circuit components. For thepurpose of achieve antenna demands of miniaturization, broadband,multi-frequency, using sometechniques such as curved structure of antenna, coupled feed and dual-mode of single branch, etc. Inthis paper, the antenna design adopts method which combines simulation and design. First of all, wesimulate antenna use software HFSS of ansoft company. We produced the first antenna and testedreturn loss of the antenna after the simulation is complete. The antenna basically meet the designrequirements.
