The CCL laminated control system can not meet the monitoring requirements ofCCL lamination process, because of the lamination information can not be shared andthe monitoring must in local. In order to solve these problems, a laminated Web-basedremote monitoring system is designed based on the original site monitoring. With thesystem, monitor staff can remote monitoring the laminating equipment.The Web-based remote monitoring system employs the B/S structure mode. Thewhole system is divided into three layers, which include on-site monitoring layer,intermediate layer and remote monitoring layer. Site monitoring layer is the originalsite monitoring system that uses Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as the maincontrol unit. Intermediate layer includes Web servers, database servers, backgroundmonitoring software and WiFi pass-through module. Web server employs Apacheserver. Database server employs MySQL software. Background monitoring softwareis written in QT framework. WiFi pass-through module is used to achieve the wirelessdata transmission between background monitoring software and PLC. Intermediatelayer is the data communication bridge between remote monitoring layer and on-sitemonitoring layer. Remote monitoring layer is a computer or other mobile devices,which installed Web browser.This dissertation is divided into seven parts. The first chapter introduces theconcept of industrial remote monitoring, the background, the purpose and meaning ofthe research, researching status of Web-based remote monitoring in domestic andforeign. The second chapter details how to build Web development platform and theoverall system design. The fourth chapter introduces the technologies,which wereused in this remote monitoring system. The third chapter describes the system-relatedhardware. The fifth chapter shows the software design of the system, include databasedesign, background monitoring software design and web design. The sixth chapterdescribes the tests and the results of the system. The last chapter lists the summariesand prospects of the system.The Web-based remote monitoring system which is described in the paperachieved the monitoring of on-site laminated monitoring system. With the relevantWeb pages, monitor staff can control the field equipment, view lamination parametersset, monitor real-time data of the lamination process. After repeated tests, the system is stable and the real-time performance is good, it can meet the remote monitoringrequirements of the laminate.
