The complaint reporting work is not only one of the important channels tomaintain close ties with teachers and students, but also plays a key role in settlingconflicts and promoting the innovation and development of the university in a steadyway. Therefore, in order to improve the work efficiency and quality of the universityand to fully and timely exert supervision for the discipline inspection department, it hasbecome an urgent demand for the information development of the university toconstruct a safe and reliable complaint management system which is easy to employ,manage and maintain.Based on the current situation of the complaints reporting work, thecharacteristics of present working process, and the practice of complaint managementinformatization by both domestic and foreign colleges and universities, this paperadopts the theoretical knowledge of software engineering and launches a particularactivity to research, design and implement the Management System in XinjiangNormal University.The complaint management system in Xinjiang Normal University is designed onthe basis of campus network and Internet resources. It offers a platform for onlinecomplaints such as reporting and query to be easily achieved, helps to broaden theapproaches of the complaint reporting work and provides an overall service for theindividuals who complaints. In order to achieve this goal, this paper has carried out\conducted a detailed analysis of the demands by complaint management system inXinjiang Normal University, and then launches a systematic study, with the help of theB/S structure, the SQL Server2005database, and ASP.NET platform. In the process ofthe design, development, and implementation, it mainly achieves the following tasks:firstly, it makes it possible to report, fill in the report information, and trace theprogress by online complaint management system. It can also be achieved on theInternet the visiting report and back-to-back report by complaints and staff. Theinformation obtained is stored in computer and classified into categories, based onwhich complaint administrators can inquire, count and analyze and put out theinformation of the documents. Secondly, by studying the nature of the disciplineinspection work and its process, all sorts of letter cases can be dealt online, such ascase registration, case investigation, and the whole process of the case development, all of which are prepared for relative departments and school leaders to supervise,instruct, and approve timely. Thirdly, the controlled rights management system isdesigned based on different roles and could more accurately meet the needs ofinformation management system which aims at settling complaint letters. Moreover, itis convenient for the system users to manage it and extend its functions, whichensures the safety of the information management for a complaint reporting business.Fourthly, integrating the characteristics of this system, it strives to design a databasetable and interfaces with other platform integration. Through a series of testing on itsfunctionality, compatibility and performance, the code is modified and the system isfurther optimized according to the results of the tests. In a word, the main content ofthe research is based on the current situation of the complaint management work inXiniiang Normal University. And with the help of the relative technologies of thesoftware engineering, it basically realizes a practical and high informative onlinecomplaint management system.
