Design And Reliazation Of Student Management Information System For Jiamusi University

Recently, most of universities have established campus networks to be connected with Internet. But it doesn't slove the problems of information share among uninversties, so using advanced Web technology and based on campus networks and requirements for information management in university and share information, the development of students integrated management information system became an important works in university currently.In this paper, we analyzed the methods of design and realization for university student integrated management information system based on Web Service Architecture, and at the same time, we also analyzed the different features and structure of Browser/Server structure compared with traditional management information system. On the base of study for background of the project and applied status in our country, we have studied the key technology of this system and made the choice to apply these study results in the design of the system.An three layer structure is adopted in the system by using Browser/Server mode. We stored the students information into Web servers in capus network and can visit the SQLServer2000 by visiting Web server application to realize to share and operate between different departments in university. By using Hypertext mode to visit server, the user can search and browse the data in server more convenient than ever, and get rid of the inconvenience resulting from traditional management information system by using client application. We analyzed and compared the current Web technology,Database technology,and interface technology between Web application and database. We discussed these problems, especially to interface between Web and database, Interactive Access between web and database is key problem we should study in this project.Because the different departments of Jiamusi University usually have provided the inaccurate and disordered students data,which have resulted in not sharing data between different departments, inaccurate statistical form, chaotic management and not getting accurate statistical data for students at any time, in this paper, aimming at this stauts and regarding Jiamusi University as an example, we designed the jiamusi university students integrated management information system. By this system,the share information can be obtained in different departments of the university. The contents managed by this system include fellowing management:basic information management, defaulter management,graduate management, documents management,apartment block management, and so on. This system will greatly help to enhance the management for different departments and advance to effects of management for university students.
