A massive National Language Movement raised in the Republic of China, It had aprofound affect on every field, Under the background, As the leader in the publishingfield,Zhonghua Book Company met the challenges,seized the opportunities,conductedmany editing and publishing activities, including the publication of Mandarin textbooks,Mandarin books, Mandarin Gramophone piece and setting up Mandarin schools."Mandarin series products " were popular with readers after appeared on the market. Theybrought considerable economic benefits for the Zhonghua Book Company and occupied ahuge book market share.As the same time, Zhonghua Book Company established a goodpublic image among readers. What’s more, the publishing activities promoted thedevelopment of the culture and made great contributions for the spiritual civilization andsocial development. They created good social benefits.This thesis is divided into six parts:The first part:preface,It introduces the origin of the topic, the research value and thebasic idea, the methods and the innovations of the research.The second part:introduce the National Language Movement to prepare for thefollowing,Including its rise, pushing and unity.The third part: discusses the Zhonghua Book Company’s several major publishingactivities under the National Language Movement: Publishing Mandarin books andphonograph piece, setting up Mandarin schools, supporting Mandarin education.The fourth part: Interaction and influence between Zhonghua Book Company and theNational Language Movement. Discussing the related, interrelated impact of them from theperspective of dialectical.The fifth part: The implications for future generations of publishing activities underthe National Language Movement, which includes business, education and culture The sixth part: conclusion. Briefly reviewing the whole text, summarying the meaningof the Zhonghua Book Company’s publishing activities.This article selects a few typical publishing activities of Zhonghua Book Company:publishing Mandarin books and phonograph piece, setting up Mandarin schools. Theauthors analyses their characteristics, publishing experience and feedback effects deeplyand comprehensively in order to provide experiences for publishing industry and culturalindustry.
