Zhonghua Book Company is praised from home to abroad for her long history, top-ranking authors, high-class editing and publishing persons with ability and topping quality publications. She is one of the special presses that could represent the level of Chinese ancient books and the publication of composition. Zhonghua Book Company edited and published mainly various kinds of textbooks spreading scientific and cultural knowledge from 1912 to 1949. Her founder Lu Feikui, being a publisher patriotism idea, located his publishing foundation at education publication definitely. He pursued all the time to develop culture and education in management, and in turn to develop industrial management in culture and education. The primal up-growth of Zhonghua Book Company, to a large extent, profited from the alternation of the national regime, which brought publishing opportunity. But it had to say that Zhonghua Book Company was with the proper method and in the right way in management for her second status in the publishing circle for the long years, whether the publishing strength as a whole or the scale of published books every year.The managers of Zhonghua Book Company, with high cultural consciousness, made great efforts to inherit and develop Chinese traditional culture of long standing. They strived to embody the managing idea of patriotism, the importance of education and opening civilian wisdom, whether editing new textbook, publishing good-sized reference book, or founding Zhonghua Correspondence School. They set the building of the brand of Zhonghua at top, paid much attention to her visualization and intention, and paid much attention to her innovational idea all the while. At managing method, Zhonghua Book Company strived to answer the crisis in sixth year of the Republic of China, which impacted her seriously. She extracted experiences and lessons from the crisis, reinforcing to supervise persons with ability, expanding multi-trades, carving out her specially developing way. From the trade and management of Zhonghua Book Company, we can see the features and necessity of the publication in Chinese modern. Chinese book publication has self national character foundation, publishers bearing the historic duty for saving the nation and people, and the social burden of transmitting culture.
