The elderly pension problem becomes more important. Community endowment, care hospital endowment gradually become the main way of social endowment. However, the traditional hospital medical model, along with the rapid development of modern society, has begun to gradually out of puff. Complicated formalities process, vast amounts of information data, has brought the doctors and nurses more and more heavy burden. In Order to solve this situation. Establish an informationization and intelligent medical system has become the key to the study. As the growing number of the old man of old-age care hospital, in order to reduce the nurses work pressure, convenient for the nurses work. In this paper, based on the Android platform developed a nurse handheld tablet terminal operation system is proposed. The system take full advantage of the open nature of Android platform, popularity and other characteristics, the Eclipse integrated development environment for programming in free, and use Web Service wireless communication technology, so as to realize the nurse handheld tablet and server communication between processes. Around the above content, this paper mainly completed the work:1. Use Web Service wireless network technology, and set up the mechanism of communication interface between the server, discuss communication protocol and resolve data package.2. Build local SQLite database in Android tablet terminal to complete the communication data storage, read and write. At the same time, the database format need to correspond with the server database format.3. Completed the construction of the Android application development environment, familiar with the Android application development features and system frame structure, mastered the development process and the debugging process of Android applications.4. Completed based on the Android platform of software design and development, realize the nurses can query the basic information of the patient, real-time pathography, health assessment, and other functions. In addition, the software also can implement the patient’s heart rate monitoring and alarm function.This topic is part of production project "Research and design of the old man care hospital monitoring system". The topic uses the Android+Web Service to build the nurse mobile tablet operation system. Help care hospital nurses to realize mobile operation. In the current hospital information communication, the system has yet to meet. This paper provides a new train of thought for intelligent hospital development.
