1830Photonic Service Switch System Verification Test

In recent years, as the extension of3rd-generation mobile communication and the surge of4th generation mobile communication, the broadband service ushered to the peak period of development, data services turns out to be the core service in the future optical transmission network communication. These changes indicate that the whole communication industry will go for wideband ages.Optical transmission network comes out at the time, and it’s available for providing functionality of transport, multiplexing, routing, management, supervision and survivability of client signals, supporting for optical layer and electrical layer crossing handling, and can be used in the large particles service dispatching.Alcatel-lucent1830photonic service switch provides a complete OTN/WDM platform. It was visibility in single wavelength level, with the unique zero-touch photonics technology, it can provide for advanced CWDM/DWDM transmission capability and adjustable ROADM function, completely colorless and orientation independent. The products covered the application scenarios of metropolitan access to backbone network, providing for the complete network solutions.In this thesis, the author briefly introduced alcatel-lucent1830photonic service switch products and advantages.Then the integrated test strategy was discussed including test granularity, detailed test coverage of UT/HWIT/SWIT/SVT and5level test suites in SVT campaign. Further, system verification test was presented, including the user interface WebUI/CLI function test, OT basic regression test (take4DPA4as example), SCOT test, DCC test(including DHCP, GCC, Multi-area OSPF and virtual Link), network initial install and ISUGNext, the verification test of MR and AR is introduced. In the end, a conclusion was made, and my feeling of my internship as a SIT Associate Engineer in alcatel-lucent IPTRD was shared.
