Communication Base Station Environment Supervisory System Design Andsoftware Implementation

The communication base stations (CBS) are across the whole Chinese land, and a lot of labors and financial resources are used every year, that is to say, it doesn’t work effective enough for the manual managements to operate the system of CBS in our country. To improve the management level of CBS, base station real-time monitoring of measures are taken, which can handle the exception of the base station and report the alarm parameters to the monitor and the control center. In this theses, the design of the effective environmental monitoring and control system for CBS are carried out, which based on the background of the environment monitoring of the CBS, and the monitor and control system use embedded technology, data storage technology, network communication technology and so on, and the software for the monitoring center functionality are also achieved.The characteristics of the environment monitoring system of CBS and its description of the research at our country and abroad, which are investigated sufficiently, are explained. Based on the needs of the environment monitoring system of CBS, designed the overall scheme of the remote unit, and developed it. It is noted that the designed system consists of two parts, the remote unit and the control center, and the communication mode of both are the implementation of GPRS network. For the remote unit:it makes up of more than one device by the developed embedded technology, for example:the microprocessor Ipcl114is used to acquit the real-time data; and the protocol of rs485, is used to transfer the data to the RTU data processing center by the established communication between the devices; and the RTU data processing center send the data to the monitor center by GPRS network. For the control center: its three major functions of the output module are completed by hierarchical design, data input, data processing and data output. And provides a real-time view of the situation and alert capabilities, send the control commands to RTU under control requires.After all, using the environment monitoring system of CBS, managers can get the change information of environmental factors in the remote unit. It has the ability to remote operation on diesel engine, air conditioning and video equipment, such as:remote control of diesel engine operating parameters; control environment of temperature and humidity through air-conditioning; smoke alarm camera capture pictures uploaded to the monitoring center. In addition, the monitoring system can achieve the function of query the historical data, system management, and so on.
