At present, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom have large number of base stations. Amounts of sophisticated memory communications equipments are placed there. The equipments demand a high level internal environment that needs constant temperature and humidity, constant-voltage, low noise, low-dust. Base stations are generally founded in the room sealed, maintaining temperature and humidity by running the air conditioning all the year round. Heat mainly comes from the equipments for the room is sealed, so external environment (such as rain, sunlight, etc.) affected less. Tremendous energy is wasting for the long year use of air conditioning, and there is a huge energy-saving space on the other hand.The paper develops a base station monitoring terminal device. MCU of the terminal is P89V51RC2, achieving the detection control of fresh air machine, air-conditioning. Huge energy consumption is reduced by operating the fresh air machine instead of air-conditioning. With the design of LED interface, users can query more directly about the temperature, humidity and the system operation. Furthermore, Users can detect and control the operating of base stations at the control center by the realization of the wired Ethernet or GPRS wireless remote communication functions, and timely measures can be adopted when abnormal response.In this paper, the first chapter describes the overview of background and research significance for the issues, the status and development of the domestic base station and my main work. The second chapter designs the whole program of the terminal by the features and the principles that the terminal should have. The third chapter in detail introduced hardware design of the base station monitoring terminal. In the fourth part, detail introduced software realization method of terminal. The fifth chapter conducts a preliminary study of the configuration scheme and functions of center monitor software. The sixth chapter introduces the realization of the terminal equipment. The last chapter, there is a summarization of this paper.
