Along with the further development of the wireless communication technology, the wireless monitoring technology has become the focus of our viewpoints. The popular wireless sensor network technology improves the monitoring technology. When it comes to the manufacture, the application of sensor is quite common, because it could be so difficult to realize the intelligentization without sensor. But if these intelligent equipments equipped with sensors can not communicate with each other, the real intelligentization would be still far away from our life. Then the wireless sensor network technology makes up for this defect. Thanks to the wireless network, intelligent equipments have realized mutual communication. Meanwhile it also makes nowadays equipments much smarter than those without network.This design aims at the automatic working of AGV. The design takes advantage of the working condition data of AGV and the terminal of assembly line transmitted by wireless network, and tries to analyze and deal with these data through the monitoring interface with Lab VIEW in order to make AGV more intelligent. In this design, the realization of the wireless transmission function is based on XBee module, while the stimulation of AGV depends upon an on-board manipulator with several kinds of sensors. With the monitoring interface, the whole working process can keep staying in the working state of the closed-loop, and the staff will be able to have acquaintance of the current working state of every AGV and every assembly line. The operator of assembly line can also stop AGV from working only by pushing a button on the monitoring interface.The design of wireless monitoring makes it possible to realize the intelligentization of some manufacturing parts. Furthermore, it also guarantees the punctual and accurate distribution of a large number of accessories. Compared with traditionally industrial automation, this design shows an evident advantage that AGV can choose the controlled program to work just as a human, not as a machine which follows always its regular program.
