The Creation And Publishing Middle Linked Data Of Scientific And Technical Report

In China, as one of the top ten science technical reports literature has been left out Formally launched the National Science and Technology System Reporting Services report indicates that China’s scientific and technological work on the right track. However, this is just the first step to manage the scientific and technical reports, and use of the content of scientific and technological report is still in the preliminary stage, there is very little relative research. In contrast, there are more researches about books, papers and patents, but there is some problems still unsolved such as integration with low quality and dimension, large granularity problem, it is difficult to meet the information needs of users. Linked data as a structured knowledge organization and distribution methods provide a solution. In this paper, I take the scientific and technical report as the object of the study, create and publish the Middle Linked Data of Scientific and Technical Report through breaking up the whole into parts, to build the foundation of the multi-granularity organizational system, to achieve to meet user multi-granularity information needs. Include the following:(1) Studies about the better use of the scientific and technology reports is little, problems such as information integration with low quality and dimension and information retrieval with large granularity remain. So I decided to create and publish the middle linked data of scientific and technical reports to meet user multi-granularity information needs. In this chapter, I clarify the background and significance of this paper.(2) describes the theory and technology to create and publish middle linked data. of scientific and technical reports, include3parts. Theories and technology about linked data include the definition,the four principles of linked data and how to create and pubish. Theories and technology about the scientific and technical reports include the definition, characteristics and value. Theories and technology about granularity include the definition and differences among the large granularity,middle granularity and fine granularity.(3) discusses the ways and means of science and technology to create middle linked data. Including automatic access to the middle data, automatic annotation, naming (assigned URI), the semantic description of the linked data and the semantic association.(4) discusses the publishing, testing and access of middle linked data of scenitific and technical reports. The way of publishing includes the Serving Static RDF Files, Serving Relational Databases and Implementing Wrappers around existing Applications or Web APIs;access method is mainly based on SPARQL query language. (5) Select the scientific and technical reports in the field about " Chemistry and Chemical", the results show that the proposed method to create and publish middle granularity linked data of scientific and technical reports related technology is effective.
