In the rapid development of computer science and technology today, General Packet Radio Service technology has become a hot technology. In order to receive the remote data collected in the desert, we use modern GPRS network for wireless transmission, which has replaced the traditional wired communication. In the whole system of this topic, the main control module of the desert robot has installed the SIM908chip with GPRS communication function. The microcontroller controls each sensor module in the desert and transmits the collected information to the Internet through GPRS net by sensor modules. Ultimately the information is received by upper computer in the lab so that receiving the remote information in the desert can be realized. The main functions achieved of the communication system are as follows:(1)The data collected in the movable near-earth environment parameters platform should be transmitted to the upper computer through GPRS network and Internet;(2)To manage and store the received data with the aid of modern database technology;(3)To build the processing platform in the upper computer and process the singular data to minimize errors during data transmission.(4)Sand process were observed on a wind erosion with a brief analysis of the environment change in the dust emission.Based on this, this system depends on GPRS technology as wireless communication technique and has designed a GPRS-based communication and platform of the dust near-Earth environment parameter monitoring system, and conducted experiments in the dust environment. Through the air temperature, humidity, wind speed, friction velocity, the sand number of impact and etc. conducted by sensors, data characteristics have been extracted. And we analyze the relationship between the factors so that the variation of the sand storms environment movement can be derived.In the whole design process of this system, the environment in the sandstorm region in China has been summarized briefly in the first. The development at home and abroad and research status of the remote data monitoring technology and network communication technology have been analyzed. This paper has proposed total design scheme, and outlined the hardware components and software design principle of the whole system. And the communication with upper computer based on the hardware has been accomplished and the communication interface of the upper computer has been designed. At last, the entire system has been debugged and tested. We briefly analyze the received data and the environment sandstorm region near the ground. Then I whole system and analyze the accepted data as well as study the ground of the sandstorm area. Then I put forward the perfecting scheme of the whole system, and conduct the summary and outlook.
