With the continuous development of information technology, the growing popularity of the network, the Internet era, network and computer information technology has in many ways hospital outpatient, and management began to enter into the medical industry. Medical management information systems have become indispensable in today’s society of higher hospital hardware platform. To improve the medical industry medical industry management efficiency, improve medical information management degree, fewer doctors too much paperwork, planning physician behavior and improve the safety of hospital information, protect patient privacy, allowing physicians to focus on medical diagnostics. Therefore, an urgent need to establish a patient management system.In this dissertation, the waterfall model of software engineering for the design of the main line, a more detailed description of the registered management, records management, prescription management, pricing management, template management and system settings and other functions, and the analysis of business logic on an outpatient basis, divided into demand requirements, system design, non-functional requirements, the framework design, database design, implementation and testing functions. For registration and management, case management, prescription management and other key functions to achieve the final completion of the health care system, through testing, and finally gives a fairly complete system.During the run time of community clinic management information system, data processing is stable and fault-tolerance is strong. It uses the local area network, better guarantees the patient’s privacy. Meanwhile, it is particularly convenient to retrieve and query, making the outpatient doctor work more efficiently.
