Transformation is the main context of contemporary society. This paper arguesthat during the period of social transformation the television media construct themainstream values of social function is facing challenges. However, television mediafor its propagation characteristics of audio-visual, the authenticity and the sense ofaudience participation, sense of superiority, occupied the strategic high ground ofvalue propagation in the transmission of information, communication, cultural values,social integration still has a very important role. From the introduction of Westernreality show in the localization process after nearly ten years of development,influence, attention degree are higher, the plural value conflicts of its own coercedcaused imbalance of value of television media, also promoted the value of televisionmedia update. Built on mainstream television media value inherent requirement underthe guidance of the reality show norms and healthy development, the integration oftelevision media can become carriers of social values.This article will examine the viewpoint turned television media entertainmentfunctions important carrier reality show, combed the development situation of reality,analyzes its load bidirectional impact value imbalance and more new on the televisionmedia social function, based on the reality show as carrier TV media in the integrationof social values of the path.
