The rapid development of wireless communication technology provides a convenient for people’s life,personal terminal wireless Internet, mobile wireless communication, wireless home etc have become a reality. Wireless environment and cable environment is completely different. Because of the interference and attenuation of the link in wireless environment, the throughput performance drops radidly, so to improve the wireless network throughput is a non-stop topic in research community. Network coding (NC) is a recent method to transmit packet in computer science to increase throught.The node in wireless environment has "listening" characteristics, enabling the network coding very suitable for application in wireless network. Network coding can improve the wireless network throughput. Therefore, in the network coding environment, exploring the performance of the wireless network throughput limit and influence factors are becoming a hot research topic. This paper’s main contributions are following:Introduce the principle of COPE and explain why COPE can improve wireless network performance,and finally analyse COPE’s performance.Introudce a single coding structure, and analysis the actual influence factors of the COPE—type network coding whthin two-hop network with a signale coding structure, these factors include the coding node’s channel access priority and link scheduling rules.And then give the relationship between the channel access priority and network throughput and the relationship between the channel access priority and the average coding number. At the same time,we also analyse the relationship between the buffer size of coding node and the network throughput and the average number of coding node,finally the simulation results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis.Put forward the concept of two coding structure, this paper analyzes the performance of the COPE—type network coding within two-hop network with two coding structure.Analysis the actual influence factors including the coding node’s channel access priority and link scheduling rules. The maximum throughput of two coding structure environment is lower than the single network coding structure.These results is useful for the routing/MAC design with network Coding.
