In the modern battlefield, acquiring the exact location of enemy radar, radio, as well as control systems in the first time by electronic technology, can make our implementation of the electronic jamming to the enemy on purpose and significantly improve the odds of the combat. Passive location method can achieve the purpose of locating without exposing ourself, therefore it has the advantage of good concealment.This paper mainly researches the passive bearing-only location algorithm of the single station, the double station and the multi-station. The single station passive bearing-only location technology is studied from three aspects in two-dimensional space, they are fixed station to the moved emitter, moved station to the fixed emitter, moved station to the moved emitter. Meanwhile presents the error analysis and simulation of the moved single station to the fixed emitter location algorithm.Deduces a single station passive location algorithm of fixed emitter based on the rate of the direction of arrival in three-dimensional space, meanwhile does the error analysis and the simulation. Then researches the double station passive bearing-only location algorithm, analyses the position error, and makes the GDOP contour map under different simulation conditions.Presents a multi-station passive bearing-only location algorithm based on the least square of the distance between the points with the straight line. The positioning model is deduced and makes the error analysis. Finally, puts forward a new method that can exclude the false cross locating points effectively.
