Along with food safety problems appearing constantly recent years, unsafe incidents in food quality take place frequently. To cope with these incidents, information diffusion becomes an important part. When the incident emerge, it’s diffusing time and range are closely with how to deal with it and it’s social influence. Now propagation law of unsafe incidents in food quality is significant in· information diffusing studies. The current domestic and foreign researches have certain progress, but there is a big research space. In terms of quality unsafe event information, the studies are mainly in management means and modes, less in propagation process. And in information side is focus on transmission dynamics, not on the food quality security incident. This paper will base on transmission dynamics and combine small-world network and free-scale network, then analysis dynamic evolution mechanism, propagation law in diffusing process, and will put forward some solutions to manage food unsafe information diffusion.Firstly, based on four phases of food unsafe information diffusion and their differences, introducing SIR model, this paper simulates incubation period diffusing process by MATLAB, which means in small-world network environment, and analysis it’s propagation law. Secondly, simulates outbreak period diffusing process by MATLAB, which means in free-scale network environment, and analysis it’s dynamic changes. Thirdly, to prove built model’s validity, this paper will simulate information diffusion of Sanlu milk incident. Finally, the built model will predict information diffusing of food unsafe incident which maybe happen in the future, and put forward some suggestions to guide and control information diffusion.
