During the development of internet, Network-based mobile node mobility management protocol-Proxy Mobile IPv6(PMIPv6) is a key technology. As a key scene under Proxy Mobile IPv6, subnet mobility has got extensive attention, while it still has not formed a standard in IETF. Currently, there are there kinds of subnet mobility protocol under Proxy Mobile IPv6, as follows:Common Network Mobility (C-NEMO), Network Mobility support PMIPv6(N-PMIPv6) and Network based Network Mobility of (N-NEMO). C-NEMO supports fewer kinds of node than others, N-PMIPv6exists nested-tunnel.In contrast, N-NEMO not only solves the nested-tunnel problem, but also fully supports node types. However, there are still a lot of flaws about N-NEMO’s subnet handover, no good solution to the problem of subnet handover under PMIPv6, and there is no research about Mobile Nodes’ authentication in N-NMEO.Due to the shortage of subnet handover in N-NEMO, this paper forms a complete subnet access scheme under Proxy Mobile IPv6by expanding N-NEMO after deeply research on N-NEMO.Firstly, this paper reviews the research status of network mobility management protocol. Followed by a brief description of the working principle of the Radius and N-NEMO, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of N-NEMO. On this basis, proposes an optimizated scheme which is Subnet Handover in Proxy Mobile IPv6through integrates the characteristics of Radius and N-NEMO. The scheme can reduce the signaling quantity during subnet handover by using the Mobile subnet identifier to name the mobile terminals within a subnet. Meanwhile, the program integrates Radius authentication mechanism, thus forming a complete mobile subnet access program. This article makes module division and software design by program requirements. Ultimately we achieve the designed scheme on the Linux-2.6.35.6kernel platform, and make some tests about the scheme. Finally, we do a brief summary of the whole work in the paper and propose some directions for the future work.
