Technology Research Of Mobile Network For Passenger Train

With the rapid development of different kinds wireless communication technology such as 3G and WLAN, Internet has become wireless and mobile. The progress of wireless access technology increases the number of wireless network users and kinds of wireless network services. But current wireless network services are designed for mobile terminals rather than mobile network. Under the background of informanization of Railway Department, it's necessary and important to research data communication in mobile network.The work of this paper is a part of"Multipurpose Information System For Passenger Train"which is supported by CNGI project. Firstly, the background of mobile IP and NEMO are summarized, and their research actualities are also reviewed. Secondly, the principles and mechanisms of MIPv6 and NEMO are analyzed in detail. Then we design the mobile network system for passenger train with consideration of railway technology features and give technology solution including network security, network management and resource configuration. At last, we make the prediction of network quality by simulation.
