Campus Intelligent Network Construction

With the rapid development of internet, most universities have built up their own network on campus, which have become a significant part of campus informationization. In recent years, the construction of University’s campus network is developed by leaps and bounds in China, which the massive funds are invested into. As an important infrastructure construction of universities, the campus network plays many roles in teaching, scientific research, management and external communication etc.. In the early stages of the development of campus network, the problem of security may be unconspicuous, but with the development of campus network, the security of campus network affects teaching. Consequently, the problem how to ensure the campus network stable, efficient and secure to work, is faced with by many colleges and universities.Network security is the essence of the safety of network information, including information of confidentiality, integrity and availability, authenticity and controllable etc, it is through the network information storage, transport and use process. Campus network security management is inanti-virus software, a firewall or intelligence gateway, etc, the defense system to prevent from outside the campus. A firewall is a firm between inner and outer net security barrier. Safety management is the basis of network security and safety technology is the auxiliary measures with safety management. The school has established a set of campus network security system is necessary.This paper is based on practical experience engaging in network management in Yancheng Institute of Technology, and the background of Yancheng Institute of Technology campus network construction. Under the guidance of the network security theory, we combine with the architecture of campus network security, and analyze the risks which faced in informationize construction. Ultimately, we systematically obtain the security requirements about Yancheng Institute of Technology campus network, and propose the solutions of campus network security, which are applied to campus network and preliminarily implement the security of campus network.
