X Project Earned Value Management Research Method Used

With the intensity of competitive environment,the development of domestic electronic technology undertakes manifold pressures including quality,cost and delivery date since the end of the1990s.How to change the way of extensive experience management and improve the level of electronic product development from the aspects of both technology andmanagement is an important challenge which the research institutes have to face.In the paper,the author,taking the big electronic product R&D enterprise were the author is working as background and incorporating management practice in project management,focused on research of how to push forward and implement Earned Value Management(EVM)during the overall process of development project so as to improve refined degree of development project management.On the basis of conclusion and summarization of basic principle and method of project management and EVM,the paper presented the importantce of pushing forward and implementation of EVM,the paper presented the importance of pushing forward ang implementation of EVM in project development and built organization structure and duty system for pushing forward EVM.The paper,taking development project X as principal line in the process of project implementation and according to requirement and method of EVM,established work flow and procedure for project EVM.In project plan phase,the paper finished CBS establishment and uilt project budget and measurement baseline based on task breakup WBS,responsibility breakup OBS.In project actuation phase,the paper analyzed bias and adiusted it dynamically according to calculation and comparison of earned value.Practice shows that implementation and application of EVM can promote management level of development project,as a result,the requirements as progress,cost,and quality of product researching and manufactueing can be guaranteed.
