About principle, the paper introduces development history, display theory, driving theory, interface of Liquid Crystal Display, the control signal of IC, the function of TCON, function and responsibility of design department.About how to achieve TCON, we use FPGA as the tool, while use verilog as programming language. The implement include:1. Analyze the principle of TCON and implement the solution of the timing controller for sync mode and DE mode using FPGA. In DE mode, we propose a solution how to detect the input timing automatically.2. Provide an idea that to use non frequency timing to achieve special use. In the paper, it is successful to solve the problem that input HSYNC is less than the gate IC requirement3. We implement the TCON which is single input and multiple output. In the TCON, we use two buffer to store data, which will output due to the SYNC or DE signal.4. In dual gate study, we disclose a new idea that to achieve dot inversion with AC VCOM and give the TCON solution.5. We provide a method that to counter frame, line,row and judge the data due to frame_counter, line_counter, row_counter. Using the method, we implement FRC and dithering in TCON.6. The solutions of1,2,3,5are applied in the product to meet different requirements, while the solution4will be verified after the patent issued.
