Books Management System Of Vocational School Based On The J2EE Multi-layer Framework

Because of the lag of infrastructure, equipment and humble nature, VocationalSchool Library severely restricted the functions of digital library in higher vocationalcolleges. In order to make full use of existing equipment College Library, fit and meetthe digital library information needs of teachers, students and school readers, improvework efficiency of Vocational Institute Library staff. In this paper, based on Internettechnology, databases and mining technology, a Vocational School librarymanagement system is designed and developed, which can realize library purchase,acquisition, cataloging, collection, circulation, periodicals, technical services,literature review, information inquiry, electronic journals, databases and otherprofessional services.By the analysis of existing related vocational school books management system,this dissertation not only describes system requirements analysis, system design andsystem programming implementation, but also expounds the principles of theimplementation of this system and the development process. Design and developmentof the system’s implementation makes us more convenient to access and retrieve thebooks information, and improve the efficiency of the school library at the same time.Through the system test, the system run speed, scalability, availability andmaintainability are well guaranteed.The main contents are:(1) An in-depth analysis of the C/S and B/S software architecture of therespective advantages and disadvantages of Higher Vocational College LibraryManagement System, while combines with the actual demand, it choosed C/S and B/S as a combination of mixed-mode structure of the system, using J2EE technology anddatabase storage solutions SQLSEVER. In consideration of actual demand, theconstruction of hardware is designed, according to the system’s functions and demandof system’s architecture, modules is divided. Including interview, catalog, reservation,circulate, readers management, journals management and office works, also designedthe functional relationship between the different modules.(2) The system uses the currently most popular MVC development model,combined with three major framework which are Hibernate, Struts, Spring Framework,while AJAX+json+jquery is used to asynchronous processing and submission, also the latest JTDS database-driven technology is used, query the database when the useof the latest XPath+XQuery query language is employed when querying the database,the operate speed of data is improved.(3) This study is based on the library management system needs analysis andpractical demand, according to the actual demand of Higher Vocational CollegeLibrary management system and the better work process, using a more appropriatesystem selection, software development platform and appropriate database.In the end, Junit and LoadRunner technology is employed for both unit test andintegration test of Vocational School Library management system, proving thecorrection of this design.
