Design And Implementation Of A Vocational High School Project Library Management System

In recent years, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education has increased integration efforts to the vocational high school. In order to developing to three campuses and making the school’s project better, a vocational high school need to apply for the corresponding special funds, control the process of the project and manage the use of special funds, which plays an important role in development of the school. Due to the fact that the traditional working methods and means of management lack of efficiency and normative, therefore, school leaders need a practical project library management system to achieve the effective management of the project and standardize the use of special funds.Through in-depth analysis and the design and implement of the project library management system, This thesis used the UML modeling technology, adopted the popular B/S structure and MVC design pattern and based on both the maturity of the Java platform development and the characteristics of the data warehouse to designed and realized a vocational high school’s library management system by connecting with the MicroStrategy engine. This project could manage the school’s existing and future implementary progress and the special fund from the budget, project and payment three main aspects. Nowadays, the Java platform+B/S structure+database application model is very popular and has the mature technology, which has many excellent characteristics such as portable across platforms, distribution characteristics, convenient business expansion, easy upgrading the system, low requirements about client hardware. This model could connect the database and data analysis tools, improve system ability of data analysis and solve the problem about traditional business systems only focus on processes do not attach importance to the data. This thesis is the first application of the project management system in the secondary vocational education. It is conducive to the development of the school’s own needs to adapt to the needs of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education for the integration of vocational high school. In system’s design and implementation process, the author’s main work is:(1) completed the detailed demand analysis for the project library management system; (2) completed the function structure design for the project library management system; (3) finished the development of the system and designed the system specific modules, optimized the project library management system database; (4) completed the project library management system functional testing and performance testing.Application of a vocational high school in the project library management system improves the monitoring of school work efficiency of project management and special funds for the use of transparency, which makes the education department’s supervision easier to facilitate the use of school projects and special funds and helps school to went through a period of adjustment to the important role, and fill the blank of domestic same type of secondary vocational schools in the project library management system application, accelerate the pace of digital campus management informationization.
