In recent years, logistics industry has maintained a rapid development trend inChina. However, the logistics operation mode is still extensive. This must lead to thehigh logistics cost and make us to hardly improve the quality of logistics service andrestrict the further development of logistics industry in China. Warehouse is the corelink of storage. The out-dated warehouse management must lead to some problems,such as frequent insufficient storage, highly storage costs and slowly logistic links.All these problems slow down the whole efficiency of logistics. Under the existinglevel of industry information, enterprises still can not get predicted inventory dataquickly. The phenomenons of insufficient and surplus of inventory are sometimescoexisting. The logistic links, such as storages, transportations and distributions, arenot smooth. This affect the over-all turnover rate of goods. In some special cases,such as emergency scheduling of supplies under some emergency situations, theefficiency of inventory is very low. These above problems can be solved by thecollaborative warehouse. The collaborative warehouse includes social storage andunit management. Therefore, we present how to develop the collaborative warehousemanagement system based on some modern development techniques, such as Flex.Firstly, we introduct the relevant theories of collaborative warehouse, such as the controlmodel and optimization method of storage and the theory of collaborative warehouse.Secondly, we describe a system architecture of the logistics’ collaborative warehousemanagement system. Then, we analyse the main functions and give the characters and thetop-level flow diagrams of the system according to the actual consumption of inventory. Wealso propose a design scheme of the system, including designing the database and subsystems.The main subsystems are the job management subsystem, the collaborative storagemanagement subsystem and the resource management subsystem. The functions in the wholesyetem are achieved by the coordination among the three subsystems. We develop the systembased on the Flex technology and realize the various functions and analysis of the system. Weachieve the goal of the collaborative management among some warehouses. Lastly, weoutlook some further works. For the sake of collaborative and intelligent warehousemanagement, we will set up a suitable mathematical model for the scientific schelduling and the inventory among warehouses based on our system framework of collaborative warehousein the further.
