Infrared detection technology is of great importance in many areas such asindustrial and civil applications, which enables people to get a clear view of atarget regardless of irradiation of visible light. The research on data processingand visualization plays an important role in infrared applications.In this study, data processing and visualization of infrared technology areachieved by graphical design method. The research on visualization of infraredthermal radiation is based on primitive work which emphasizes detailed researchon visualization method of infrared thermal radiation, and the meaning andpurpose of the subject is described. The necessity of visualization research ofinfrared thermal radiation with its application status and its future developmentprospects is discussed in this article.In the view of the characteristics of the infrared image, this study shows adetailed analysis of the characteristics of the infrared radiation, following thethree laws of infrared thermal radiation based on the application of infraredthermal imaging technology for depth profiling and focusing on analysis of theworking principle of infrared thermal imaging image processing softwaredevelopment platform. In data preprocessing links with a median filter, thismethod presents step edge image as well as other details, effectively reduce andeven avoid the object image thinning or crude distortion, which can effectivelyprotect details of the picture, reduce image noise and improve image claritydegrees. This study use the image segmentation method to eliminate the uselesspart of the image, and extract our interesting goals, paving the way for imageprocessing. In the image enhancement algorithm we use histogram equalizationvisualization algorithm to improve the contrast of the image pixels and to achievethe purpose of enhancement of the image gray original infrared image; we usethe pseudo algorithm of rainbow coding to process the pseudo-color, improving the naked-eye observation efficiency to achieve the design requirements.This study compiles the visualization software program according to theinfrared heat radiation characteristics, which, based on LabVIEW, buildsvisualization software development platform for founding infrared datapreprocessing, image denoising, image enhancement, and pseudo-colorprocessing structure. We try to apply the advantages of infrared heat radiationtechnology to practical issues for industrial and civil use, such as monitoringwood drying and so on.
