Therefore, a student management system of fast, efficient, reliable, low cost comes up. It is management software which is mainly used for school’s managing students’ information; and its general task is to achieve the systematization, scientization, standardization and automation of students’ information. This paper mainly discusses the student management system based on B/S structure through the example of student management work in Changzhi Medical College. According to the users’ needs analyses, the system is primarily composed of student basic information management system, Curriculum management system, score management system and student internships management system. This paper adopts Set Pair Analysis Theory as the main comment way, and details the use of this theory. The paper first introduces the B/S model of web database application system; then discusses the thoughts and ways to develop B/S structured web database system which uses Visual Basic. NET as the clients’ development tools and the SQL Server2005as the back-end database’s development platform. Finally it designs and realizes the student management system based on B/S structure which applies structured life cycle development methodology, prototyping, and object-oriented software development methods.Through the experimental system of trial operation, designed and implemented in this paper proved the system can correct effectively complete the student management a series of work, greatly improves the efficiency of the management of students.
