Design And Implementation Of The Students’ Registration Management Information System Of Institute Of Building Materials

The traditional methods of manual management, or simple softwares of computer application, cannot meet the needs of education development under the new situation, because the scale of enrollment in higher education and the area of universities are increasingly expanding and the information technology of IT is highly developed. As a result, it triggered a boom in computer management, and also promoted the wide use of computer management widely used in colleges. The Management Information System of Students’ Registration in Institute of Building Materials is an independently developed software system which aims at improving the management quality of students’ admission.There are various management system of students’ admission on the market, some are inexpensive but not complete in function, some are complicated in function but expensive, some are not perfect in the layout of the construction which will call for much money on modification and extension. Institute of Building Materials is a newly established private higher vocational college in Hunan province, so it is urgent to develop a student information management system which is a systematical science, stable in operation, reasonable in price, comprehensive in function and easy to use, modify and improve. It can combine the computer information technology and other science into an organic one.Object Oriented is a trend of the development method. It focuses on the design of class and makes it possible to repeatedly use the software, to modify and improve the software. According to the demand for the development of education administration in colleges and universities and on the basis of principles that computer management system is practical, efficient, accurate, safe, open and transparent, this article follows the relevant theories and methods of the software engineering, combines the computer software engineering and information technology, designs and implements a set of information management system of students’ admission to adapt to Institute of Building Materials. Based on campus network, operation platform of Windows XP system and B/S(Browser/Server(Browser/Server) mode, the system carries out object-oriented method throughout the entire development process, adopts the three-tier architecture design of NET, develops a information management system of students’ admission under three-tier architecture by means of Visual c # 2012 development tool combined with SQL Server 2008 database, have a model on UML2.0 during the stages of analysis and design, and finally gets the information management system of students’ admission which is reasonable, practical, highly stable, maintainable and scalable. The system can improve the efficiency of educational administration personnel and optimize the methods of management so that it can enhance the overall strength of the college. At the same time it provides reference basis for system development to other domestic private colleges.
