Data is one of the most important assets for a bank. With the growth of banking business and the continuous expansion of information application scale, more and more file transmission within the bank and between the internal host systems and external systems is required, and higher quality of file transmission is expected as well, thus it poses prominent challenges for file transmission. The solution is to establish high-performance, safe and reliable structure and service platform for general file transmission, supporting both real-time transfer and bulk transfer in the bank.The solution to bus transmission in small and medium sized banks of IBM Sterling MFT production line applies IBM file transmission platform product Sterling B2B Integrator and central control center platform custom-developed by JAVA. The solution consists of two parts. The first part involves core component SI used for B2B gateway and file storage system. It supports the development and configuration of various protocols and has mailboxes safely and reliably based on data storage. The second part is the control center developed by JAVA for managing, monitoring and setting files and user information, which applies SSH frame and DB2database.The solution is applicable to the safe and efficient transmission of bulk data files within the bank or between the bank and its commercial partners, possessed with functions of24x7unattended auto run scripts, automatic dispatch and automatic alarm notification, and as well as overall security assurance and global monitoring, which allows for automatic data exchanges in key task applications of the bank, thus improving the work efficiency and business reliability. The solution enhances the safe management and conducts unified management for file transmission between the bank and the third party to eliminate insecurity and reduce file transmission risks respectively, with the aim of improving file transmission efficiency and safe management levels. Meanwhile, it exerts centralized control for data flow and establishes technology platform to cut down file transmission costs, to enhance the security for file transmission and as well as to raise the management levels.
