Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), which is the product of PLD, PAL, GAL andsuch kind of programmable devices for further development. FPGA solves the limited amountof programmable devices generally gates problem. Also, it overcomes the lack of change inthe custom circuit. Using FPGA for system development can improve the reliability of thesystem. What’s more, it shortens the development time of the new products. Therefore, usingFPGA for prototyping has become an important means of circuitry developed It is meaningfulto design an FPGA board for validation logic and designing a middle digital system.This paper analyzes the characteristics of Altera ’s Cyclone series FPGA chip,whichdesign the board using core board and peripheral board separately.The circuit board dividedby function modules.I design FPGA development board circuit system. I mainly study thepower circuit, reset circuit, memory circuit, clock circuit. I complete the schematic and PCBlayout design. The FPGA development board has420000equivalent gates,4M bit flashmemory,256M bit SDRAM,ASP,JTAG and80high-speed expansion I/O port. In this paper,the FPGA development board design of the core module and peripheral circuit moduleseparately has strong expansibility. The core circuit use SRAM and SDRAM with EPCS andFLASH storage solution, providing enough storage resources for subsequent development,which can easily be configured for logic resources and shorten development time.This paper conducted a variety of testing experimets on the designed FPGA developmentboard, test results show that, each module in FPGA development board functions properly,and connected properly to each other module, and each module can operate together tocomplete the task of system delivery. An automated ticketing system has been designed usingthe FPGA development board developed in this paper, and the normal operation of the systemshows that, FPGA development board system achieve the desired design standards for thedevelopment and integration of electronic engineering tasks of various digital logic systems.
