With the rapid development of computer technology, the use of computers to obtain and process information in today’s information management is a major feature, through the computer can be a lot of tedious work simplification, personnel training college student management plan is an important part, it is necessary development of student information management system for student information management to digitize. College faculty can reduce work pressure, more systematically the Senate, teaching various services and information management, to keep up with various State departments on the pace of information technology to make the management more standardized. Based on this I designed a set of feasible and effective student information management system, this paper introduces the student information management system for the entire development process, elaborated system requirements analysis, design, database design and system implementation of the entire process, the specific module uses object-oriented development methodology.In this paper, the student information for the study, from reality, analysis of the current student information management problems, combined with the management of the basic principles of information systems development, design student information management system. This paper introduces the student information management system research background, significance and content of the study, based on this proposed based on three-tier B/S architecture student information management system. Combined with the actual needs of the student information management system article is divided into the following management features:student records management, grade management, class management, curriculum management, performance management, teacher management, query and reporting, printing and other functions. On the demand analysis, from the system’s business requirements, functional requirements, non-functional requirements are described in three aspects; system design from abstract conceptual level and functional requirements perspective, according to the demand structure to determine the logical model of the system, and through the concept of class analysis and use-case analysis is described in detail; introduced in database design and conceptual design of the database data dictionary. Finally, the research work carried out systematic summary and outlook, noting that the analysis and design exist some shortcomings, the paper lists references.
