Recently, the education of the secondary schools has had a complexion with the schools' enrolling large amount of freshmen. The establishment of high-efficient students' information system has been an indispensable part in secondary schools' management. It will help to increase efficiency in management.The paper mainly analyzes the target's technology and explains the design of the students' information management system. So that it can solve such problems as scattering and gathering data, comprehensive utilization, unified management, resource-sharing, etc.There are seven chapters in this paper. The first chapter exposes the prevailing situation and characteristics of the students' information management system. The second chapter explains the system technologically and theoretically, and it gives a brief introduction to object-oriented technology--- the management system, ADO(Active Data Objects) and SQL Server 2000. The third chapter gives an overall exposition to the design of the system. It illustrates the operating surrounding, the tool and platform of the development of the system, as well as it's structure design, function mode and systematic procedure. The fourth chapter introduces the design of system database. It designs eight graphs---system user graph, student file information graph, tuition graph and so on, which is done in accordance with the analysis to the demand of information management. The fifth chapter gives technological analysis to the system, and it mainly discusses on the establishment of the windows, the set up of the public mode, and further illustrates how to add, modify and inquiry in the students' file. The sixth chapter is the systematic test. The last chapter is a summary to the whole paper.
