| By analyzing the characteristics of the different type testers for dial indicatorgauges，this paper proposes a design of semi-automatic grating tester which is based onPersonal Computer (PC). And it introduces design thought of the tester frommechanical design, design of the grating sensor, selection of grating acquisition cardand data processing software programming.By artificial rotating the handwheel, the tester makes grating sensor producestandard length value, and meanwhile makes the needle of dial indicator move tomeasuring point. Then the computer reads the standard length value of grating sensor,calculates the measuring error of the dial indicator, process and judges the dataaccording to verification regulation and calibration specification, automaticallyproduces the original record and verification certificate.So semi-automatic certificationor calibration of the dial indicator can be realized and work efficiency can be raised.The tester has good human-computer interaction interface which isunderstandability and easy operating. It makes the operator concentrate on rotating thehandwheel of the tester and aiming the needle of the dial indicator gauges throughsetting automatic sampling time and voice prompts on measuring point. Operatingprocedure is simplified and disoperation can be reduced.The tester is passed verification and uncertainty analysis.it meets the requirementsof relevant national technical regulations. It can be used in the verification or calibrationof dial gauge, bore dial indicators and dial test indicator. |
