A auto-verification system for dial gauges (reading in 0.01mm and 0.001mm) is developed on the basis of automatic control technique, microcontroller application technique and computer intelligence technique.Firstly, the progress in verification system is reviewed and the measure of verification is studied according to the rule of verification. A auto-verification system for dial gauges is proposed based on modern auto measurement technique.Secondly, the hardware control, software control and graphic analysis is combined to insure the reliability and precision. The hardware system is developed by precision machining technique and step motor control module, which is based on a micro-controller core. While the software system consist of graphic analysis, verification process control and information management.Finally, the performance of the system is analyzed according to the testing data. The experiment results show that system is correct and feasible, and satisfies the requirement of auto-verification for dial gauges. What's more, the system has many merits such as complete automatization, high accuracy, high efficiency, multi-items verification, high stability and reliability. The proposed auto-verification system can improve the efficiency and accuracy during the process of verification.
