Differential absorption radar (DIAL) which contains the advantages of representation of time and space, speed detection, and advanced detection accuracy is a good tool to measure atmospheric pollution. Light emission systems is an important component of the differential absorption radar, because whether its performance is good or bad will directly affect the outcome of detection. TEA CO2 laser is ideal lamp-house of the differential absorption radar and the core component of optical emission systems. The achievement of rapid tuning of the TEA CO2 laser and the precision of control will determine whether the light source can meet the requirements of differential absorption radar system. Energy monitoring and communication is a necessary part of system.Based on the working principle of differential absorption radar, it is reported to institute the project of lamp-house (TEA CO2 laser) of light emission systems. It is confirmed to use the method of combining the optical scanner with a fixed grating to achieve rapid tuning; As for the communication of two computers, the design of interface of the differential absorption radar host computer and the laser computer has been finished; furthermore, energy monitoring and data processing have been completed.In experiments, there has been the research on the stability of the optical scanner: whether it could circumrotate at a high speed and stop at the required position, and whether the trigger signal is correct. Obtained 62 spectrums, 100Hz repeat frequency in experiments; it has demonstrated the feasibility of rapid tuning project and the correctness of system working time sequence. Based on the rapid tuning, data acquisition and data processing of laser have been finished, moreover, the best time for data acquisition has been confirmed, additionally, the correctness of data processing has been verified. Through the experiments of host computer (e.g. working under the control parameter given by host computer and monitoring under the energy), it has showed that the communication of the internal of two computers worked normally and laser computer could work well under the control of host computer.
