With the rapid development of Internet technology, University campus networkbusiness increased, Backdrop of students, teachers, administrative staff offsiteincreasing demand for use of school resources. Therefore, it’s particularly important tobuild a highly efficient, high-reliability, high-security campus VPN network. Afteryears of development, Guizhou University for Nationalities have multiple campuses, themajor resources and data resources in the mvpnain campus. Meanwhile,the majority ofstudents, faculty members through the Internet remote access to internal resources ofthe school has a large demand.On the basis of the VPN theory, this thesis focuses on the composition of the SSLVPN system works with SSL protocol, Focusing on the key exchange, data summary,authentication, data encryption, and other security issues on the SSL VPN systemshould be used on the strategy and key technologies. Combined with the actual needs ofGuizhou University for Nationalities, the author worked out the analysis of networkdemand, schedule, practice and test of VPN. Based on Open VPN, this thesis developeda simplified campus VPN system with object oriented technology, which boasts manyfunctions namely identification, access control, data forwarding and backstagemanagement module.Of the design and implementation of the campus network based on the SSL VPNsystem with the characteristics of the low-cost, high-efficiency, campus network,remote access and the campus internal resources securely share, the easiest way toachieve the desired function, stable operation.
