Study Of Fujian Business School Campus Network Based On Engineering Design

Modern education technology has given great importance in today’s informationera and thus comes the new turn of upgrading and project construction of the networkequipment. As we know, campus network of the secondary vocational schools hasprovided the network environment such as the computer room to support the teachingmanagement, official business and information exchange for school. Therefore it isnecessary to build a campus network which is rapid, safe, steady and efficient and inturn to supply a network environment which is function stable, with a high scalabilityand suitable for modern education and teaching to provide a personalized learningplatform for students. Recently, many colleges, schools and universities have alreadyrealized the great importance of the campus network and because of what theapplication of the campus network has become a major topic in the network applicationfield both at home and abroad.Our thesis has proposed the campus network reforming plan targeted for the needsof Fujian Business School on the basis of analyzing the condition of its present networkand studying the key technology for the reformation and construction of campusnetwork by making use of advanced technique like virtual private network, wirelessnetwork. In the plan we take the GbE as the backbone of the campus network andmanage to construct an application-oriented and multifunctional campus networkaiming at1KMbps at Switch and100Mbps for Computer. As for the connecting device,we will choose the firewall and the campus network which includes three layers whichare the core layer, the convergence layer and the access layer satisfies the needs byconnecting the1000M optical fiber with leased line. And we have attach greatimportance to the application of flow control of the network port, the solution of thenetwork VPN and wireless network technology.The author of this thesis is one of the major technicists in the project of campusnetwork construction for Fujian Business School mainly in charge of the plan forwireless network and the executing process of the whole project and has participated theestimation of project needs, the design of the network security system and the hardwarefacilities. The design and application of the system will give some lessons for theconstruction and reforming of the campus network in secondary vocational schools.
