Research And Implementation Of Accessing To Network Resources Within The University Campus Network Based On SSL VPN

For accelerating the pace of building information, colleges and universities introduce a large number of electronic resources in various ways to provide plenty of information. With some constraints, many resources can be accessed only within the campus network's IP address that be authorized. With the external demand for resources increasing, the universities need a complete solution for management, remote access and security authentication to share resources and improve resource utilization.The thesis with several commonly used remote access methods, analyzes the VPN technology, compares the working principle and technological advantages of IPsec VPN with SSL VPN, and determines to build Virtual channel of accessing to campus network resources by SSL VPN.The thesis Models and verifies the modules of remote access to internal network resources, users registered, server authentication and key generation by Petri net , it discusses the feasibility of building a campus network remote access to internal network resources.The thesis provides a way to construct remote access VPN by the open source SSL Explorer to enhance the original functions of SSL Explorer, such as added some web pages, modified the language to Chinese. All of the tasks improve humane, flexibility, security and scalability of the software and meet the requirements of off-campus access to campus resources, and convenient management of the server.Finally, the thesis summarizes the results of research topics and gives the description of prospects for further research.
