The real world we live in is a three-dimensional stereoscopic world, but thetraditional stereo pictorial display device can only simply transfer the two-dimensionalinformation. With the development and progress of the society, people are more eagerto get three-dimensional image information of real-world from the way of visualexperience.Therefore, three-dimensional display technology has become one of today’shot spot in display research field. Currently, the stereoscopic display device developedbase on a variety of display technologies can fully reproduce the three-dimensionalinformation of real-life scene. Through these display devices, audience will be able toexperience the immersive stereoscopic effect from the stereoscopic image displaydevice. The current three-dimensional display device can be divided into two categories:accessorial stereoscopic display device and free stereoscopic display device. Withoutwearing any auxiliary equipment, people can see the stereoscopic image displayed onthe screen with the left and right eyes when watching the free stereoscopic displaydevice, thus it becomes more practical and flexible, also be given widespread attentionof the researchers. There are many ways to implement free stereoscopic display, amongthem,parallax barrier autostereoscopic display device have such advantages as simplystructure, easily process and implementation, without wearing any auxiliary viewingdevice and good effect of stereoscopic display multi-view etc., it becomes a commonlyused device to achieve stereoscopic display effect in the current.There are different ways to achieve parallax barrier stereoscopic display effect.This article discusses a stereoscopic display system built on liquid crystal shutter, thekey point is how to manufacture the liquid crystal shutter, first we need to make stripedelectrode on the ITO glass before manufacture liquid crystal shutter. Producing stripedelectrode with the traditional photoresist method has a lot of limitations, the process iscomplicated, the effect is not good, so this article proposes a new method which isreal-time and it can produce a small amount of high accurate quality liquid crystalshutter samples. The main research contains the following points:1. Manufacture a CNC laser etching processing system that can make real-time etchingprocessing of the ITO substrate; 2.According to theoretical calculations and the parameter datas derived by manyexperiments, use the CNC laser machining system etch the Cr mask layer formed bysputtering method on the ITO glass substrate accurately, to obtain the mask patterns;3.Use the conventional wet etching method to produce the ITO stripe electrode substratewhich is required, and make the sealing box with the ITO glass substrate etched;4.Do the detection of the liquid crystal shutter, and complete the test of its actual effectsfinally.
