In the context of the information age,almost all human-computer interaction scenarios are inseparable from the display.The display has developed rapidly in the past 100 years,from black and white to colorful,from two-dimensional to threedimensional,from heavy cathode ray tube to light LCD screen.The display become brighter,more colorful and more efficient.The display effect continues to improve in a more realistic way.Since the invention of stereo photography in the 1930 s and 1940 s,the pursuit of stereoscopic display technology has never stopped,and a series of stereoscopic display technologies such as two-color complementary stereo imaging,time multiplexing imaging based on switch glasses,and parallax barrier method have been developed.In recent years,true 3D technology has also promoted the development of stereoscopic display technology from another aspect.However,in view of the technical level and application field,the stereoscopic display method based on auxiliary glasses is the mainstream nowadays,which can be mainly divided into the filter-based spectral multiplexing stereoscopic display method,the time multiplexing stereo display method based on liquid crystal switch glasses and the polarization multiplexing stereo display method.The work of this paper mainly focuses on time multiplexing stereoscopic display technology and spectrum multiplexing stereoscopic display technology,and makes some improvements on them.The first chapter introduces the development history and corresponding application scenarios of stereoscopic display technology in detail,pointing out the application value of stereoscopic display in medical,military,media,film and television,etc.It analyzes the basic principles of various stereoscopic display technologies.From the aspect of display principle,the existing stereoscopic display technology can be divided into stereoscopic display technology based on binocular parallax and true 3D display technology.From the aspect of using auxiliary devices or not,it can be divided into auxiliary glasses-based stereoscopic display technology and free-style stereoscopic display technology.Considering the development status at home and abroad,and maturity,the stereoscopic display technology based on auxiliary glasses is currently widely used in stable stereoscopic display systems.The second chapter is a general introduction to the basic theoretical knowledge involved.It mainly includes the theory and related standards of color and color space,LCD and the response time of LCD screen,and the definition and measurement method of brightness and crosstalk of the stereo system.This chapter works for the equipment selection,parameter selection and performance measurement of the two stereoscopic display schemes in Chapters 3 and 4,and provides a theoretical basis for the derivation of related formulas.The third chapter is an introduction to the spectrum division multiplexing stereo display system based on complementary multiband bandpass filter.This chapter details the overall system plan,filter production,display device preparation,and system parameter measurement and analysis.The crosstalk value is less than 2%,and the display brightness is higher than 110 nit.Different from the traditional two-color complementary stereoscopic display scheme,the multiband bandpass glasses in this system have complementary bandpass in the red,green,and blue bands,which is superior to the traditional scheme in color reproduction.At the end of this chapter,this paper proposes an effective improvement scheme for the color deviation caused by the filter.The 4th chapter is an introduction to a stereoscopic display system based on switching glasses and scanning backlight.This chapter select Nvidia 3D Vision2 kit and Ben Q XL2707-B display as the basis,apply quantum dot materials,improving display brightness to 90 nit,and redesigned the backlight layout,improving backlight driving timing and making the system crosstalk less than 1.1%.The main work of this chapter is to replace the original whole backlight panel with four sub-modules,and determine the time delay between each module by calculating the parameters such as liquid crystal reaction time,matching the corresponding software and hardware,and finally achieving better than similar products on the market.Overall,this article is based on the work of the predecessors,and has improved on the spectral multiplexing and time multiplexing stereoscopic display schemes.The improvement of the stereoscopic display scheme provides a reference and has certain innovation.At the end of the article,the shortcomings of the work of this article are also summarized,and the development direction of stereoscopic display is prospected.
