Since twenty-first Century, the rapid development of computers, computerapplication, information technology has been fully penetrated into every aspect ofhuman society; information technology has become the trend of the world economicand social development. In the traditional restaurant, ordering process is done manuallyby a restaurant waiter. If the restaurant is relatively large and a peak passenger flow, canappear the guests waiting for eating a long time phenomenon. The appearance ofAndroid system, brought a new era of mobile internet. In order to meet the needs ofordering, use new information technology, research and design a mobile phone orderingsystem based on Android platform. It can improve the efficiency of restaurant meal, toreflect the modern dining atmosphere.This paper discusses the background of the subject under study, as well as currentdevelopments in the domestic mobile phone ordering, followed by analysis of thecurrent market, the use of mobile phone ordering methods and management methodsand in the restaurant industry in the face of problems, and then further extended thephone reservation system in the modern restaurant industry as reflected in the obviousadvantages, a clear platform for mobile phones based on Android reservation systemused in catering management system development related to technical feasibility. Basedon this analysis of the major contemporary restaurant industry operating procedures,then focus on analyzing the main functions of the system requirements. Then from thetechnical aspects of the software on the phone reservation system for the overall design,and finally to achieve a set of Android-based mobile phone reservation system. Thesystem can provide detailed information on the service, customers can use the systemvery easy ordering, so customers for ordering provides a lot of useful referenceinformation and freedom. Use Android phone as ordering of the system equipment,customers can personalize and visualization of ordering, enhance the user experiencebut also improve the efficiency of food service, and thus effectively improve thecompetitiveness of the food and beverage business. This article is based on the Androidplatform for mobile reservation system to a variety of users as the main target,providing a good user interface, communication with users, the convenience ofmembers and guests ordering is the main objective of the system design. The system enables the user to modify IP, user registration and login, viewing menus, orderingfunction to generate orders, modify orders, etc., you can also view the history ofconsumer records for recipes score. Overall, the main goal of this research project is toenhance the food and beverage industry, modern management service quality, so guestsanywhere, anytime meal, improve work efficiency and restaurant social advocacyawareness.In this paper, based on Android platform mobile phone ordering systemdevelopment based on C/S structure, using Servlet and MySQL programming to achievethe storage and manipulation of data. Mobile phone client is mainly used Android UIdevelopment technology, using Activity components, and in accordance with the MVCmode of development. Communication network data are in accordance with HTTPprotocol to realize the interaction with the server. In the background, developmentenvironment and runtime environment using MYSQL as the back-end database server,Android mobile phone terminal as an ordering system using TOMCAT as client, server,and uses JAVA, ANDROID, JDBC technology, using MyEclipseSDK, ADT, AVD,DDMS development environment and development tools.
