With the rapid development of science and technology, the Internet affects people live in anunprecedented force of impact. In recent years, the number of Internet users in China increasesevery year and shopping online is no longer a white-collar fashion patent, it gradually berespected by more and more people and becoming a new way of life. The online ordering serviceis increasingly warming in such an environment and how to develop the online ordering businesswill make sense. The online ordering system is developed for the corresponding needs of community collegestudents. As we know,"Food is what matters to the people", people need to meet the mouths andstomachs before normal work and study. After research, students put forward many advices onthe school cafeteria from which we can find that, the price of vegetables is relatively expensive, food supply time is relatively short. if students missed dinner time for some things, they may nothave food; when holidays come, meals types is lack and it exists that "hot sell, sell hot"; it isdifficult to find a seat to eat and school prevent students taking the food back to the bedroom toeat; when winter comes into corner, due to exams approaching, many students are willing to hidein the bedroom, rather than deliberately went to the canteen. After all, if someone can serve foodto bedroom, there will be a lot of people willing to try. To sum up, the dining roomcorresponding problems give our system huge potential customers. We will unscramble the basic function of "online ordering system" with the principles ofservice to customers and for sake of customers, and we will combine the characteristics of thee-commerce project development to analyses successful cases of related sites in the domestic andforeign for entire system planning. This article describes the design and implementation process of the online ordering system, including the system feasibility analysis, demand analysis, overall design, detailed design, andsystem function test. The design principles of the system follow the six areas(1)Practical: treat the users’ needs as the goal and the efficient as principle.(2) Advancement: the design will provide users a highly performance system, uses the SQLServer2000database and make administrator management more convenient. (3) Reliability: this design will ensure the reliability and fault tolerance of the site.(4) Safety: users only need to fill out the orders information and then keep waiting fordelivery. The staff will do the regular maintenance of the hardware and software.(5) Maintenance: this website system needs regular maintenance according to their variousneeds to meet customer demand.(6) The expansibility and flexibility: the expansion of the site is very large, it can expand thesize of the site according to demand; the background can control the information and content, can update information anytime, and also can change the management mode according to thedemand. Therefore; it is truly flexible. The online ordering system can allow customers ordering directly through the site. Thiswork studied the architecture of the back-end database and security management, described thework as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the browser/server mode, and comparedanother three modes host/terminal, client/server and browser/server respective characteristics. The reservation system uses B/S mode whose back-end database is SQL Server2000and usingASP.Net technology development at the foreground.besides, This article focuses on how to useASP.Net and ADO.Net object to access database, design details, the specific steps and methods.
