At present, the property management sector of colleges and universities throughoutthe country are relatively backwards in terms of information management. Increasingenrollment of colleges and universities has raised higher demand of the propertymanagement sector such as board and lodging. As many colleges and universities areexpanding their infrastructures, the property management sectors also have to increasetheir content and range. Nowadays many universities have more than one campus zones, and the property management sectors have to adapt to these new changes. So theproperty management sectors of colleges and universities should try to becomestandardized, specialized, and socialized so as to adapt to the rapid development ofcolleges and universities. In order to improve management efficiency and service quality, share resources aswell as cutting cost, the author has probed into the research and development ofproperty management system based on B/S pattern. The aim is to build a relaxing, harmonious campus environment of high property management quality. Through theB/S pattern, the property management sector of colleges and universities can not onlyput commercial tenant management, energy management, classroom management anddormitory management together, but also can increase the efficiency, business coverageand coordination ability of the property management system. Focusing on theabove-mentioned problem and assisted by database design technique and ASP.NETwebsite design, this essay mainly deals with the design and implementation of propertymanagement system based on B/S pattern. The main contents of this essay are as follows:1. Research and analysis of university property management procedures anddemand analysis.2. The software design program based on B/S framework assisted by ASP.NETtechnique.3. Realize the division of high cohesion and low coupling of the functional moduleand improve the reuse ability of software.4. Realize the design of background database, using OLEDB to connect to thedatabase. Firstly the author used system function demand analysis, use case analysis, andperformance requirements analysis to have an overall understanding of the wholesystem, and then designed the several subsystems by the way of database design, systemframework design as well as website interface design. After testing we find that thissystem has very high linking speed, good load capacity as well as anti-pressure ability. This system has eliminated the disadvantages of the traditional property managementsystem and greatly improved the current property management capacity.
