Design And Implementation Of Bus Monitoring System Based On Wireless Network

With the rapid development of highway construction in China, road transportindustry obtained great progress, car passenger capacity has been improved rapidly. Butbecause our country has a large population, the enhanced transport capacity can notmeet people’s needs. Driven by economic interests, there are often overcrowded,passenger car speeding, fatigue driving and other irregularities, it makes passenger carfrequent traffic accidents, people’s lives, and property caused a huge losses. In addition,fraud and robbery occurred often in passenger car. Therefore, remote real-timemonitoring of vehicle has the positive significance to reduce the rate of traffic accidents,fight against crime, improve passenger safety etc..In this thesis, based on wireless network bus monitoring system consists of threeparts of the vehicle terminal,3G wireless network, the monitoring center. The vehicleterminal GPS data and video information is transmitted by3G wireless network to theremote monitoring center, the monitoring center collecting these information, by usingMapX technology, the system can display real-time running state of bus on theelectronic map. The monitoring center uses the C/S architecture, SQL Server asbackground database, using Visual Basic6as the development tool, initially completedbus monitoring system based on wireless network.This thesis describes the development situation of domestic GPS vehicle positioningand monitoring system, and the main related technology is introduced; analyzes systemrequirements; and introduces in detail the system design process; has a detailed designanalysis and implementation of the main modules; simply describes the system testing,and designs the individual module functional test case; Finally this thesis makes summaryon implement and prospect of the system．...
