Development Of Low-voltage Equipment Management System Based On MapX

The present situation of low-voltage equipment management in power distribution network is analyzed in this paper. Because the management method of low-voltage equipment is relatively lag and there is no good way to manage the low-voltage equipment in effect, the graphical management system of low-voltage equipment based on MapX is put forward which makes the best use of GIS. Then GIS and COM technology is discussed which is the theory foundation of the system. The emphasis is the project design, layout design, data structure design and the difficulty we have encountered in the development process. At last the algorithm of how to calculate theoretical power line loss in the system is introduced.
