Meteor Burst Communications is an ultra long-range communication with high military significance and broad application prospects, which channel is stable, and not subject to ionospheric disturbances, nuclear and other factors.Meteor trail is widely distributed in space, which can achieve multi-node networking communication in a wide range. Compared to other continuous channels, meteor trails have random spatial and temporal sudden, rapid decay characteristics, therefore in network communication, intuitive, efficient network monitoring technology is needed to research, which can achieve the overall arrangement of resources, improve channel utilization rate and network throughput, and reduce average network delay.Based on the current typical networking modes used by meteor burst communications, combined with computer technology and geographic information system technology, according to meteor burst networking communication needs, through in-depth analysis to decompose the functional requirements, a meteor burst communications network monitoring software is developed using Visual C++6.0and MapInfo MapX5.0, which can real-time monitor the distribution of the various communication nodes, on/off of the communication links and the access of the new network node, and provide the raw data to calculate the optimal path in order to make the most excellent link planning. Finally, simulation tests are made which verify the correctness, relevance and effectiveness of the meteor burst network monitoring software, and which provides a theoretical guidance and technical support for engineering applications.
