With the implementation of a variety of enterprise application systems, enterprises haveaccumulated large amounts of valuable historical data. The intense competition in the marketforces companies to take full advantage of these massive information resources byintroducing business intelligence, and by which they can gain valuable information. Theseinformation can help senior managers acquire knowledge, make scientific and rationalbusiness decisions to enhance the enterprise comprehensive competitiveness in the market.Business intelligence systems can achieve data collection, data processing,in-depth analysis,forecast, model building and knowledge discovery by using data warehouse, data mining andonline analytical processing technology.This thesis researches association rules mining and the classic Apriori algorithm, analysisApriori algorithm running efficiency and performance bottlenecks. Apriori algorithm has twoperformance bottlenecks of scaning the database repeatedly and large amount of candidateitemsets, the performance bottlenecks affect the efficiency in the implementation of thealgorithm seriously. For the performance bottlenecks of Apriori algorithm facing, this thesisproposes an improved Apriori algorithm based on the index and frequent itemset compression.The algorithm introduces a transaction index table and frequent itemset compression methods,the algorithm only need to scan the database once, it reduces the time of finding transaction.And it does not need to generate candidate itemset, reducing the memory space and amount ofcomputation of candidate itemset greatly. It compensates for the deficiencies of Apriorialgorithm performance.Based on the research of business intelligence and its core technology, according to theneeds of qualification management system in the road transport services, this thesis proposesa business intelligence design. Based on the basis of the original function of the system, itachieves the design and development of business intelligence function by introduction ofBusiness Intelligence technology. It extends qualification management system for businessintelligence business intelligence system, and finish the front-end display of data warehousebuilding, model building and OLAP analysis technology. It has massive data management,model building, data mining, data analysis and forecasting capability, helps senior managersunderstand the business operation and market trends, make the efficient and rational business decisions quickly, improve enterprise management capacity and market competitiveness.
