With2G and3G network be coverage widely, each telecom operator has reservedmore and more customer data. The data include the basic information of the customers,the consumer information and business information. For the customer’s power ofconsumption is different, the value created is different. The difference betweencustomer’s consumption behaviors is very big. In order to further improve the quality ofcustomer service and profits, more and more attention of the customer data managementand information mining. If operators can find valuable information, that will beconducive to the development of enterprises, help enterprises to formulate rightmarketing strategy, improve the efficiency of enterprises. Data mining technology canget valuable patters or rules by discover analyzing large amount of data. Operators canuse data mining technology to know the composition of the clients, the groupcharacteristics and business association rules by data mining, and then improve thecustomer value to enhance their own competitiveness.This paper first introduces some basic knowledge of data mining、clusteringalgorithm、classification algorithm and several association rules algorithm. Especiallystudied the Apriori and AprioriTid algorithm, and put forward the defects of these twoalgorithms. On the basis, to improve an AprioriTid_M algorithm based oncompression set. This method can prune the invalid sets, reduce the number of thecandidate sets and improve the speed of the algorithm. By comparing the time that theApriori algorithm and AprioriTid_M spending at the same data and different support,the same data and different support. This method has validated that the running time ofthe improved algorithm is less than the original algorithm.By collecting and analyzing of a telecommunication company’s business andcustomers’ data, to study its business model and marketing strategy. Using theAprioriTid_M algorithm to excavate the association rules of the telecom based on theneed of the operators. To combine with the actual situation, interpret the results andoptimize the mining model. And then put forward the way of cross-selling of business.Finally, to design a data mining system based on the telecom customer data management. The system can management the users’ data, excavate the associationrules of telecommunication business and visual data mining technology.
